LED Implant X shine Description

This set includes an LED implant that is encased in a 3x13mm biocompatible protective sleeve. The implant is delivered in a sterile injection needle and can be placed like an ordinary NFC implant. The implant itself responds to active 13.56MHz NFC zones such as smartphones, readers or even access controls with the same frequency. The LED implant cannot be read or programmed like an NFC implant. It only reacts to active NFC fields with an LED. If you are interested in a programmable NFC implant, we recommend the X2 or X3 NFC implant series.

Please keep in mind that the Xshine implant has no memory and cannot be written to and read from a smartphone like the X2 or X3 series. The slightly bluish color came about artificially. The implant has a white LED installed.

Notes without piercer intervention

The NFC implant without the intervention of a partner piercer, includes everything needed to place an NFC implant. Please note that with inexperienced implantation, veins and muscle tissue can be injured. Please consult qualified personnel for this purpose in order to minimize the risk of injury. You are also welcome to use our partner piercers without the procedure that can be booked through us. However, in this case, we cannot firmly calculate the cost of the procedure.

Notes with piercer intervention

This option not only includes the chipset with injection needle, but we also take care of the payment processing of the injection at one of our partner piercers. You individually make an appointment with one of our piercers. If we do not have a piercer in your area, please contact us and we will find a suitable piercer for you free of charge. Here, too, a 30-day cooling-off period applies.

This video and photo shows how bright the NFC implant is. Video and photo was not post-processed only cut in length. Please note that the implant glows differently depending on the skin structure and skin color. In addition, the readout medium, i.e. e.g. the smartphone an important factor how bright the LED is final. The flashing is caused by the readout frequency of the smartphone and can vary. For readers that continuously try to read an implant, the NFC implant usually lights up continuously.

Quality control

We are convinced that high quality products will always prevail in the long run and therefore we can offer products with much more than the classic 12 months warranty. We guarantee the full functionality of our NFC implants for at least 10 years. We can do this with a clear conscience, as we check the function, antennas and solder joints of the implants and sort them out if necessary.

But that’s not all. If your implant needs to be replaced, you will not only receive a new one free of charge, but this again includes the full 10-year warranty.

The appointment with the partner piercer is getting closer and closer and you are wondering whether it would not be better to do without an NFC implant. We understand that and therefore we allow a full 30 days to reconsider this step. Please just make sure that the packaging remains closed and this does not apply to custom goods.

Scope of delivery


Chipset in injection syringe

Chip set with injection material. The syringe is packed in an EO sterile bag. Sterilization is regularly tested by an independent German laboratory.

Disinfection wipes

To enable a sterile procedure, three disinfecting wipes are included. These can be used as surface disinfection and skin cleansing prior to implantation.

Waterproof plasters

You will receive 10 waterproof plasters with each chip implant. With these patches, you can shower and swim until the puncture wound heals.

In addition, a pair of latex-free vinyl gloves are included, which are also free of accelerators and therefore have a good skin compatibility.

Wound plaster

For the initial treatment of the wound, two sterile wound plasters are included. These are large enough to protect the puncture site and absorb light bleeding.

Regardless of the pandemic, we include a protective mask with every order to minimize the risk of bacterial infections as well.

To determine this value, the reading board X3P USB and X2R Stick were used. The guide value is without unit of measurement and refers exclusively as a comparative value to other implants.


Some chipsets cannot be read or written with all smartphone models. Main causes are: Restriction by the operating system, a too thick smartphone case or one that shields NFC signals (metal).

Access / access control systems

If you want to control access systems with your implant, we have determined a value based on user experience and manufacturer that reflects the probability of compatibility. This value is not a substitute for a detailed test using a test implant.


There are a number of RFID / NFC readers on the market that can read NFC transponders. Many of these readers do not support all formats or are simply too weak to read NFC implants.

UID / Encryption

Each implant has a UID or CUID or also called ID in the case of 125Khz chipsets, which can identify themselves on control units etc.. This serial number, which is usually read alphanumerically, varies in length and is encrypted to varying degrees.


Door locks, readers and smartphones can read passive NFC transponders. Manufacturers of these devices determine which chipsets are supported. Therefore, there is a different distribution of individual chipset types. However, this is not an indicator that this chipset must also be the right one for you.


The memory size of the chipsets, is often overestimated and attributed too great a benefit. The memory of the implants is very small, but more than sufficient for most requirements. A business card, for example, requires only a memory of about 100byte.
