Description
This RFID module with integrated 13.56MHz antenna, can be easily operated with an Arduino using an SPI interface. The module requires a 3.3V power supply, which can be provided by the Arduino board. The required current is maximum 80ua and works with 10-13mA.
The RFID Arduino RF522 module supports MF1xxS20, MF1xxS70 and MF1xxS50 tags and is therefore compatible with an X3 implant. In addition, the module can also read NTAG216, as well as MIFARE DESFire chipsets, so that X2 and X4 users will also be happy with the module. The transfer speed for MIFARE Classic transponders can be up to 424 kBits/sec. reach The module measures 37.5x25mm and has six drill holes. The antenna reaches a reading distance of approx. 20mm. This was tested using an NFC tag MIFARE NTAG216 transponder.
